Kukemetsa forest hut

The easily accessible forest hut is situated by the gravel forest road. The surrounding forests are rich in wild berries and mushrooms and suitable for just walking. The forest hut is a good resting spot along the Selgise cycling trail and Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking trail.

Location6.5 km north of the Matjama village, Peipsiääre municipality, Tartu County. Object no 32 on the recreation area map.
Driving directionsDrive 8 km on Tartu–Jõhvi road to Aovere. Turn right towards Kallaste and drive 12 km. Turn left in the Matjama village and drive 4.8 km along the gravel road up to the junction. Choose the left branch of the road and drive 1.7 km. The forest hut is situated to the left of the road.
