The campfire site is situated in Luitemaa Nature Reserve, on the Tõotusemägi hill. In the close vicinity is Rannametsa–Tolkuse nature study trail, which introduces the dune coast, expanses of sand and mire landscapes.

Hiking options 2.2 km long Rannametsa–Tolkuse nature study trail starts on the other side of the road.
SightsThe campfire site is situated in Luitemaa Nature Reserve, among its main attractions are the coastal meadows rich in birds. The hills of Tõotusemägi and Tornimägi, situated on the coastal ridge along the coastline, are among the highest peaks in Estonia.
