Toatsejärve rest stop
Lääne County, Nõva Recreation Area
The recreation site is situated on the northern shore of a picturesque forest lake, which is the favourite place for swimmers in spring due to its warm water. Here the protected leech species of Hirudo medicinalis can be found, as well as rare plant species. The recreation site is a stop on the Liivaseranna - Peraküla study trail focusing on valuable ecosystems.

| Driving directions | Drive 47 km from Tallinn
through Keila towards Haapsalu and turn right at the Määra road junction (sign
“Nõva 29 km”). Drive through Nõva for 3.2 km towards Haapsalu, turn right at the
Peraküla bus stop and drive 1.9 km to Peraküla. Drive along the stone road and
where the stone road turns to the left, leave your car in the parking area on
the right. Walk along the path to the recreation site. |
