The hiking trail goes through a beautiful pine forest, meandering along the banks of Kauksi stream, and offering lovely views.

Winter accessibilityStarting in January, about 2 km of the trail is groomed with a snowmobile. Visitors can make campfire in the yard of Kauksi Nature Centre and park their vehicles there as well.
Additional informationThe trail winds around the primeval bed of the Kauksi stream; the trail starts near RMK Kauksi Nature Centre.
RestrictionsMotorised vehicle traffic is prohibited outside roads and paths within 50 m shore protection zone. Campfires can be made only in designated sites.

Driving directionsDrive 47 km along Jõhvi–Tartu road, turn left at the Kauksi bus stop (sign to RMK Kauksi Nature Centre). Drive 600 m ahead, until you can see the Kauksi Nature Centre at the right side of the road. The trail starts in the yard of the Nature Centre.
