Valgesoo bog campfire site

A nice in 2022 reconstructed site for hikers at the edge of Valgesoo bog. The campfire site is on the RMK Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking route.

LocationPõlva County, Põlva municipality, near Kiidjärve–Kärsa road. Object no 18 on the recreation area map.
Driving directionsDrive from Tartu towards Põlva along the Põlva-Reola Road (road no 61). 10 km before Põlva turn left towards Kiidjärve at Koorvere intersection. Drive along Akste-Häätaru Road (road no. 18138) for 7 km and then turn right into a forest road at the Valgesoo sign. Drive 150 m until you reach the observation tower parking lot. The campfire site is on the right of the driveway.
