Soontaga campsite

In connection with the long-term road repair on the Võru-Kuigatsi-Tõrva highway (no. 69) on the section between Valga road and Soontaga village (see, the Rõngu-Pikasilla highway (no. 52) must be used to reach the Soontaga camping area. 900 m from Pikasilla Väike Emajõgi bridge towards Rõngu, turn to the forest road to the south (RMK sign), after 2.4 km drive along the right branch of the road and after 4 km turn right again at the sign and after about 1 km you will be there! Detour plan in the first photo.
A nice place to organise major events and a good rest stop for those who enjoy forest recreation.

Driving directionsOn Võru–Kuigatsi–Tõrva road, 3 km from the Jõhvi–Tartu–Valga road junction, turn right onto small gravel road (follow the sign “RMK Soontaga telkimisala”), drive about 3 km and turn left (sign “RMK Soontaga telkimisala”). After about 1 km you’ll arrive at the campsite.
