Suitsu rest stop

Pärnu County, Matsalu National Park
On the right bank of the Suitsu River you can see both old and restored boatsheds, which were and still are used to store the necessary fishing equipment. At the sheds both the local fishermen and the tour boats of visitors of the national park depart to the river. A path leads from the recreation site to the observation tower and a hiking trail.

AmenitiesPicnic table at the parking area, another one near the Suitsu observation tower. A waste bag holder near both tables. Next to the parking area there is a dry toilet and information board introducing the area.

Driving directionsDrive 43 km from Risti to Virtsu (road no 10), turn right towards Penijõe (road no. 16193). Drive 1 km and turn left towards Kirikuküla village (at the sign of 5.5 km to Suitsu observation tower, road no 16194). Drive along the gravel road to the parking space on the bank of the Suitsu River. A 300 m long surface road takes you to the Suitsu observation tower.
