Saunja study trail (1.2 km)

Lääne County, Silma Nature Reserve
The Saunja study trail has been liquidated. We recommend visiting other hiking trails in the Silma Nature Reserve: Saare study trail (1 km), Tahu study trail (1,4 km).
The study trail runs through a young pine forest and juniper stands to Saunja observation tower at the bay. During bird migration you can see thousands of birds here: swans, black geese, geese, diving ducks, ducks, cranes, common goldeneyes and coots, a lot of mergansers, grebes and herons. A real paradise of birds!
