SightsAt the recreation site there is the biggest (trunk circumference 8.5 m at the height of 1.3 m) and oldest tree in Estonia. In 1998 its age was measured to be 680 years, using the increment boring method.

Driving directionsOn Antsla–Kanepi road, 13 km from Antsla, after the Urvaste bus stop, turn left (follow the sign “Tamme-Lauri tamm 500 m”). Follow the signs to the parking area at Tamme-Lauri Oak recreation site. The recreation site is next to the parking area.
